Big Al's Steaks Franchise Request Form

Big Al’s Steaks is committed to its Franchisees and it shows through effective training. A diverse, well trained team of professionals is the key component to the entire system's success. Through effective training and execution, our Franchisees can achieve growth and prosperity.

Following your acceptance as a Big Al’s Steaks’ franchisee, your next step will be to build your store (choose your site, Work with Big Al's and your general contractor) and make plans for your grand opening. About eight weeks before your grand opening you will attend Big Al's Steaks University at our corporate headquarters in Delray Beach Florida (travel and lodging are on us), for eight days of introductory training comprised of both classroom and in-store "hands on" training.

INTRODUCTORY TRAINING CONSISTS OF:

  • Product Concepts
  • Guest Interactions
  • Customer Service
  • Recruiting / Interviewing / Hiring / Motivating
  • Training Your Trainer
  • Administration
  • Equipment care and maintenance
  • POS System(Computer Ordering System)

Your Big Al’s Steaks’ introductory training isn’t complete until your Big Al’s Steaks tour of Philadelphia. You will be flown to Philadelphia (on us!) for a guided tour of the city and the shops that have made the Philadelphia Steak Sandwich the national icon of deliciousness that it is. On your tour you will have the opportunity to sample Steak Sandwiches at several of Philadelphia’s more well known Steak Sandwich shops, as well as get some great Pictures of your experience which you will be able to display in your store!

Once your Big Al’s Steaks has been designed and built you will be ready for the next step in your Big Al’s Steaks training, the seven day in store training.

IN-STORE-TRAINING CONSISTS OF:

  • Prep Work
  • Sandwich Assembly
  • Opening and Closing Processes
  • POS System Operation
  • Working at all Stations
  • Administration
  • Equipment Cleaning and Maintenance

After completing the Big Al’s Steaks Training Program you will be qualified to manage, and be able to assist in training the staff for your new store. By taking part in the training of your new staff, you will gain the experience and confidence to provide continuous training in your new Big Al’s Steaks Franchise.

ONGOING TRAINING:

Your training is never "over" at Big Al’s Steaks. If/When operational systems are updated or improved; it can result in a change in procedures. Additional training will be provided to help you and your team learn the new procedures if they are required.

Most importantly, the same staff that worked with you during the initial training period is available (by phone, e-mail or at your location) for consultation and support on training issues that may arise.
